Council sponsors coaching of students
Panchkula, July 12
As part of its noble initiative, the local Senior Citizen Council will sponsor the two-year coaching of three meritorious students for further studies in engineering at the Akash institute. A cheque for the fee amount was presented to one of the three students, Nidhi Semwal, by the council. The amount was donated by Bharat Hiteshi, chairman, Mathura Dass Lajwanti Hiteshi Foundation.
The council’s initiative of facilitating coaching to students of Class IX and X started last year.
Foundation president NK Sharma, vice-president Ashok Gupta, general secretary Surinder Arora, secretary Avinash Mehta and finance secretary SP Vij were also present.
