A local court has issued notice to Kawaljit Singh Walia, a resident of Sector 36-B, Chandigarh, for November 13 in a contempt petition filed by Chandigarh Club president Sandeep Sahni.

Sunil Toni, counsel of Sahni, in the petition told the court that in a order dated November 5, the Civil Judge (Junior Division), Chandigarh, had passed an injunction order restraining Walia and others from publishing or issuing any defamatory, false and unverified statements on their social media account till further orders regarding Sahni.

Toni said despite there being a stay order as well as the legal notice, the respondents continued to upload various videos on YouTube platform levelling false allegations.
