Twenty-nine more persons tested positive for Covid-19 today, taking the district tally to 561.

Six persons were found infected from Sector 8. Five cases were reported from Sector 21 and six from Shahpur. One person each from Sector 12-A, Marranwala village, Dharmpur, Kalka, Vishwakarma Colony in Pinjore, Sector 19, Sector 20, Sector 4, and Housing Board Colony in Sector 19 also tested positive.

Two cases were reported from Sector 2, while a man from the CRPF was also found infected.

Tweleve patients were discharged. — TNS
