Mohali sees 5 deaths, 233 fresh cases

Mohali: Five more persons died of Covid-19 in the district during the past 24 hours. Meanwhile, 233 fresh coronavirus cases surfaced till Saturday evening. As many as 617 patients recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours. The death count shared by private hospitals on Saturday added 11 more fatalities to the toll. The total number of deaths rose to 947. TNS

Four succumb, 71 test positive in Panchkula

Panchkula: Four more persons succumbed to Covid-19 during the past 24 hours, taking the death toll in the district to 341. The Civil Surgeon, Dr Jasjit Kaur, said a 67-year-old man of Kalka, a 48-year-old man of Sector 9, a 68-year-old woman of Raipur Rani and a 54-year-old woman of Sector 17 succumbed to the virus. Meanwhile, 71 persons were found infected with the virus. TNS
