Cricket meet today

Shamshir Foundation will organise special cricket event

The Shamshir Foundation will organise a special cricket event titled “Cricket Beyond Sight”, dedicated to showcasing the remarkable talent and unbreakable spirit of visually and hearing-impaired players at Yadavindra Public School, Mohali, on May 3.

The tournament will feature four teams, including two U-19 teams from School for the Blind and Deaf, Patiala, and Netraheen Sevak Samaj, Ludhiana.

Two senior teams (age 20 and above) from School for the Blind, Malerkotla, and Netraheen Sevak Samaj, Ludhiana, will also participate in the tournament.

The event is being coordinated by Ishaan, a state-level U-19 cricket player and current captain of Yadavindra Public School. Abhishek Mahali, a national-level cricket player from Siliguri, will attend the event.
