CSIO, DTU join hands for research

Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIO) and the Delhi Technological University (DTU) today entered into an agreement to facilitate the exchange of staff and students towards co-supervision of undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD thesis as well as carrying out collaborative research.
A memorandum of understanding signed in this regard involves sharing of expertise, domain knowledge and available facilities in mutually agreed research areas such as physics, photonics, optics, chemistry, biomedical, material science and engineering, nanoscience and nanotechnology, electronics, computation, mechanical engineering and other areas of common interest.
CSIO Director Prof RK Sinha said the MoU was to support academic partnerships, including research collaboration, exchange of faculty, researchers, students, publications, academic programs and collaborative research projects. The collaboration plays an important role in building a globally competent academic and research system.
Prof Shamsher, Registrar, DTU, said not only the students of the DTU gain from the initiative but it would also help the faculty.
