The scientific, technical and administrative staff of the Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIO) and their families marked Republic Day by unfurling the National Flag on its campus here.

Addressing the gathering, Prof RK Sinha, Director, CSIO, said besides providing tactical instrumentation to the Air Force, the CSIO had now started developing technologies for the Indian Navy. He said the CSIO scientists had identified new segments such as wildlife and border management for developing innovative technologies and products. At Terminal Ballistics Research Laboratory (TBRL), director, Dr Manjit Singh, unfurled the National Flag and addressed the gathering, which included over 400 scientists, officials and staff members. — TNS
