The Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Akademi (CSNA) honoured achievers of Panjab University Youth Festival in a special programme CSNA Yuva Pratibha Utsav 2019 at Tagore Theatre on Wednesday.

Young singer Rza Heer shined through with her performance. She opened up on a divine note with rendition of a shabad ‘Baba Nanak dukhiyan de’.

After a folk song by Mandeep Kaur from GGDSD College, Sector 32 and ‘Mirza’ song by Harpreet Kaur from Panjab University campus, a solo ‘Kathak’ classical dance recital was presented by Divyangana Chauhan from PG Govt College for Girls, Sector 42, Chandigarh.

Another scintillating solo kathak recital came from Anmol Arora opened up with Shiv stuti ‘Nmami Shani Sham’.

The programme concluded with ‘luddi’ dance by PGGC-11 and bhangra by PGGC-11 for boys.
