Students of DAV College, Sector 10, have performed well at the National Youth Festival 2025 held in Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

Representing Panjab University, the Group Folk Song team secured the top spot in the north zone and was ranked among the top five teams in the country. A total of 36 teams participated in the event.

The team also performed at “Viksit Bharat ke Rang”, which was attended by Cabinet ministers and cricket legend Jonty Rhodes. The closing ceremony was addressed by PM Narendra Modi.

The team of 11 students, supported by accompanists Talvinder Singh and Jagdish Kumar, was guided by coach Parvesh Kumar. Harpriya Singh, teacher in-charge; and Purnima Sehgal, Dean, Culture, accompanied the contingent.
