DAV College, Chandigarh, gave a stellar performance by bagging 22 prizes in different categories in the recently concluded Zonal Youth Festival in Panjab University, Chandigarh. The students who participated in the youth festival were from BA, B.Com, BCA, BBA and Masters.

The Music Department won 10 Prizes: First prize in group song, second prize each in group Bhajan, Indian orchestra, Vaar and Kali. The department won third prize in instrumental music percussion and ghazal. Even in Gidha, the students outshined other colleges by bagging first position. In general dance, the college bagged second position. It bagged first prize in Punjabi handwriting, in Hindi Handwriting, in Rangoli.

The college bagged third prize in collage making, first prize in on the spot painting, third prize in still life drawing, third position in mime, third prize in skit, third prize in khiddo making, first prize in rassa vattna, second prize in guddiyan patole, third prize in peehdi making and first prize in folk orchestra.
