In view of the upcoming Independence Day celebrations on August 15, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Shrishti Gupta conducted a detailed inspection of the parade preparations at the Police Lines this morning.

Gupta interacted with the platoons and motivated them to deliver their best performance.

Emphasising the importance of posture, marching precision, coordination, and discipline, the DCP said that a police parade is not only a display of skill and readiness but also a reflection of the force's commitment and dignity before the public.

During the inspection, Gupta further provided the personnel with technical tips to ensure uniformity and accuracy in every movement. She stressed that on a national occasion such as Independence Day, the police force's performance should be impressive and disciplined in every respect, inspiring pride and a sense of security among citizens.
