Chandigarh: A Delhi youth visiting the UT tested positive for Covid on Wednesday. The 25-year-old youth, who lives and works at Patel Nagar in Delhi and hails from Uttarakhand, had come to the city on May 22 to meet his mother, who works as a maid at a house in Sector 21-D. He developed fever and had a sore throat on June 1. He visited the GMSH-16 the next day for a check-up. He was admitted to the hospital. His samples were taken for a Covid test and the report came positive. The case will not be counted in the Chandigarh tally. TNS
