A total of 155 dentures were provided to patients during a dental fortnight observed at the Civil Hospital in Phase 6 and other subdivisional hospitals at Dera Bassi and Kharar besides community health centres at Kurali and Banur.

Mohali Civil Surgeon Dr Manjit Singh said patients and other people were made aware of the importance of dental care during the fortnight, which concluded on February 14.

People were provided free dental check-up and patients were given treatment for various ailments, including tooth decay, cavities, gum diseases, darkened tooth, etc.
