This is the need of the hour to promote skill-based education and start more skill and job-oriented courses in all institutes, said the Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University, Dr Zora Singh, during the inauguration of the DBU Centre of Excellence in Sector 8, Chandigarh. The centre is started for culinary arts and hospitality management diploma courses in collaboration with Scholab Global Limited. Centre Head Shivangi Verma said it was offering a diplomas in food production and bakery; food and beverages service; front office operations; and in housekeeping operation. TNS
