When she reached near her home, two bike-borne youths came from behind and snatched her handbag. She held on to the bag, but the miscreants dragged her for a distance before the handle of the bag broke and they fled with the bag containing Rs 5,000, a chequebook, mobile phone and important documents. She did not know whether the miscreants were following her from the bank. The incident has been captured on the CCTV cameras in the area.
