Chandigarh, February 8
A class XII student was reportedly attacked outside a school in Sector 37 by two unidentified miscreants on Wednesday. The motive behind the attack was unclear, said the police.
According to the police, the victim was stabbed around 11.30 am as he left the school.
Sources said the attackers punched, kicked and stabbed the victim twice, causing injuries in the abdomen and thigh. He was admitted to the GMSH-16. He was later discharged from the hospital.
A police official said the victim claimed that he did not know the attackers. “We are going to register a case against unidentified persons,” said a police official.
