Didar Singh, a former chairman of Panchayat Samiti and a former BJP Kisan Morcha president, has been appointed as chairman of the Board for three years.
The UT Secretary Industries, Special Secretary (Finance), and State Director Khadi and Village Industries Commission will be members of the Board, while General Manager, District Industries Centre, will be its Member Secretary.
The Administration has also appointed seven non-official members to the board, including Pawan Kumar Sharma, Balwinder Sharma, Baljit Singh Sidhu, Dr Siddharth Shankar Sharma, Kulbir Singh, former Deputy Mayor Farmila and Nisha Sharma.
According to the notification, the Board headquarter will be at Chandigarh and it will have a three-year tenure.
