The local Municipal Corporation has decided to cover the drain passing through Sohana village to rid the area of stench emanating from dirty water flowing in it.
This was announced by Health Minister and local MLA Balbir Singh Sidhu today while laying the foundation stone of a community hall at Mangiana Patti in Sohana village. The minister said he was committed to providing city-like facilities to the villages of Mohali. There would be no shortage of funds for the construction of the community hall. — TNS
