In a daring rescue, Panchkula villagers saved a driver as his truck got washed away in swollen Ghaggar river on Wednesday morning.

The truck got stuck as the driver tried to cross the river amid heavy rain near Rajjipur Majri byepass.

The villagers saved the driver by pulling him out of the swollen river with the help of the ropes. Soon after, the truck stuck was flown away with the strong currents of the river water.
