“All the persons above 18 years will be eligible to get the vaccine during the programme,” said Ahuja.

He also urged the people to come for vaccination after having proper breakfast. “People will not be vaccinated on an empty stomach,” he said.

The DC said a team comprising Dr Vikas, Dr Anuj, Dr Bhawna and Dr Sanju would ensure verification of people at the vaccination site.

Besides this, duties have been assigned to the officials from different departments for the success of the event, he said.

“Assistant Commissioner of Police Ramesh Gulia will ensure the smooth movement of vehicles at the entry and exit gates of the stadium,” Ahuja informed.

He said the police team would also check the registration of the beneficiaries before allowing them into to the stadium.

He advised people to register for the vaccination before coming to the venue.
