Drug peddler arrested with 80 gm heroin

In a major drug bust, the police have arrested Akashdeep, a drug smuggler, with 80 gram of heroin in his possession. Following his arrest, the court granted a one-day police remand for further investigation. The arrest is linked to an ongoing heroin trafficking case involving Sukdeep Singh, who was previously apprehended based on information provided by other individuals.

On March 22, Naresh Sharma and Gaurav Sharma were arrested by Chandimandir police for their involvement in

drug trafficking.

During interrogation, they confessed to purchasing heroin from Sukdeep Singh, leading to the recovery of 10.23 gram of heroin from Sukdeep Singh

Further police investigation revealed that Sukdeep had been obtaining heroin from Akashdeep, a resident of Kharar.
