Nine days after a youth, Sandeep, was found murdered at Daria, the GRP arrested Prakash Singh (26) and Rohit (21). Station house officer Raj Kumar said: “We rounded them up yesterday and started questioning them. They admitted to murdering Sandeep.”

While Prakash owns a dhaba in Daria, Rohit, who earlier worked at a sweets shop in the same village, was staying in Haryana. “Three of them were drinking that night and got into a fight over something. They used a stick and some sharp weapon, which is used for cutting coconuts, to kill Sandeep,” said the SHO.
