Chandigarh January 13

The Registering and Licensing Authority will hold e-auction of registration numbers of “CH01-CA” series from January 22 (10 am) to January 24 (5 pm).

Registration for participation in the e-auction will start from January 15 (10 am) and will continue till January 21 (5 pm).

The e-auction of the leftover fancy numbers of previous series “CH01-BZ”, “CH01-BY”, “CH01-BX”, “CH01-BW”, “CH01-BV”, “CH01-BU”, “CH01-BT” and “CH01-BS” will also be held.

Those who purchased vehicles on Chandigarh address are allowed to participate in e-auction.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
