The police today nabbed three persons on the charge of attacking the owner of a restaurant with a sword and sticks in Pinjore. They have been identified as Sunny and Sandeep Sharma, both residents of Saini Mohalla, and Gurpreet Singh of Vasudevpura village near Pinjore.

The three were produced before the court which remanded them in one-day police custody.

Chirag Garg, owner of Urban Food situated on Bitna Road, told the police that on January 16 at 9 pm, around seven youths came to his restaurant in a vehicle and started attacking him and his friend, Kuber Singh with, a sword and sticks. His friend suffered severe injuries on the head and was rushed to the Civil Hospital, Sector 6.

A case under Sections 148, 149, 323, 452 and 506, and 25, 543 and 59 of the Arms Act has been registered at the Pinjore police station.
