The UT Education Department has decided to conduct offline examinations for Class 9 to 11 government school students, if necessary, in two shifts.
The revised schedule for examination, however, is yet to be intimated by the authorities concerned.
Instructions to heads of schools

- At the time of examination, not more than 15 students shall be allowed to sit in one classroom, and if required, the exam can be conducted in two shifts.
Wearing of masks, sanitisation of campus, proper social distancing and other precautions are to be ensured by the school heads.
All heads of the institutions are allowed to undertake urgent and time-bound academic and non-academic activities, except classroom teaching, from April 12 to 23.

Keeping in view the surge in Covid-19 cases, it has been decided that all the educational institutions in Chandigarh shall remain closed up to April 10. However, the entire teaching and non-teaching staff shall continue to attend on all working days.
