Educate kids to fulfil dreams of Ambedkar: Haryana minister

State Minister for Panchayati Raj and Development Krishan Lal Panwar today urged people to ensure children received higher education, so that the dreams of Dr BR Ambedkar could be fulfilled.

The minister was addressing an event to commemorate the 135th birth anniversary of Dr Ambedkar. On the occasion, the minister announced Rs 21 lakh for the construction of a lift in the Ambedkar Bhawan, and inaugurated a smart classroom.

Panwar called upon everyone to vow to support talented children from the community by adopting them and funding their higher education. This, he said, would empower the youth through education and lead to meaningful outcomes. He added that the government was setting up coaching centres and libraries for youth in every district. He highlighted that Baba Saheb fought throughout his life to uplift the Dalit community and continued to be a powerful source of inspiration.
