Mohali: Eight patients succumbed to Covid-19 in the district during the past 24 hours, taking the toll to 748. Meanwhile, 535 more persons were diagnosed with the disease till Saturday evening and 1,336 were cured of it. Among the new cases, 109 came from Mohali (urban), three from Banur, 14 from Kurali, 16 from Boothgarh, 29 from Gharuan, 49 from Lalru, 78 from Gharuan, 78 from Kharar, 104 from Dera Bassi and 133 from the Dhakoli area of Zirakpur. So far, the district has reported 60,059 cases and 49,202 recoveries. There are 10,109 active cases. TNS
