Mohali: Eight more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, taking the total tally to 68,687. Meanwhile, no death was reported from the district till Thursday evening while one patient got the better of the disease. Among the new cases, one each came from Dera Bassi and Gharuan, two from Kharar and four from Dhakoli. No case was reported from Mohali, Lalru, Kurali, Boothgarh and Banur.

The district has seen 67,577 recoveries so far. There are 49 active cases with 1,061 deaths. TNS
