Two elderly couple were injured on Saturday after a huge tree fell on their house in Sector 15.

The house has been damaged badly.

The incident was reported on Friday night after the gusty winds uprooted the tree and it fell on the house.

Piyush, the couple’s son said, that they had urged the administration in vain to have the tree cut down in time because feared it might lead to such an accidnet.

The tree was cleared in the morning by the administration.
