The Municipal Corporation Chandigarh today removed the encroachments from Sector 15 Patel Market.

During the drive, numerous illegal vendors who were found occupying public pathways and market space, causing obstruction to pedestrian movement and inconvenience to both shoppers and shopkeepers, were removed.

As a result of the drive, a total 52 challans were issued on the spot to violators for illegal encroachments. The Joint Commissioner instructed the enforcement staff and area supervisors to maintain strict vigilance and ensure that such violations were checked from taking place again.
