Following the review, DC Satpal Sharma convened a meeting of officials at the Mini Secretariat auditorium. He instructed officers to resolve pending complaints received through Samadhan Shivirs, CP Grams, Jan Samvad, CM Window and SMGT at the earliest.

He emphasised that issues raised by citizens during these grievance camps must be addressed immediately, warning that negligence or delay would not be tolerated.

The DC particularly directed that complaints older than 60 days, as well as pending and re-opened matters, should be resolved promptly to avoid inconvenience to the public.

Sharing the status of cases in Panchkula district, he noted that out of 4,690 complaints, 4,136 had been settled, 396 were cancelled and 158 remained pending. He urged all officers to handle matters with seriousness and within stipulated timelines so that the district could secure the top position in grievance redressal.

Sharma underlined that the Chief Minister was committed to ensuring that welfare schemes reach the poorest and most vulnerable sections of society.

He further added that resolving public grievances should remain the foremost priority of all departments.
