Chandigarh, December 31

The Excise and Taxation Department today sealed the business premises of the Sector 8-C based salon for not filing its GSTR-3B returns since October, 2018 which amounts to default of 12 months return.

The total tax liability pending against Headmasters Salon Private Ltd is Rs 1.48 crore, including tax and interest.

The Department on the direction of Excise and Taxation Commissioner-cum-Deputy Commissioner, UT, constituted three teams headed by ETOs Sanjeev Madaan, Arun Kumar, and Amanpreet Singh along with the supporting staff.

The Excise and Taxation Department issued many notices to the company but the owner did not file any return for the last one year.
