Chandigarh, June 3

There is a forecast of light rain on Friday and Saturday.

According to the Chandigarh Meteorological Department, the next two days are expected to see a partly cloudy sky with thundery development/light rain.

On Sunday, the city is likely to see a clear sky.

Meanwhile, the city today recorded a maximum temperature of 34°C, five degrees below normal.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
