The Municipal Corporation (MC) will launch a series of educational exposure visits for school and college students to promote awareness on solid waste management, source segregation and the principles of Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) 2.0.

The initiative comes as part of the city’s active participation in Swachh Survekshan 2025, conducted annually by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.

With an aim to nurture responsible behaviour and strengthen the culture of cleanliness among younger generations, the civic body has decided to involve students and youth groups across the city in various awareness activities.
