The Department of Anatomy at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) has received the body of Ganga Nand Jha (90), a resident of New Chandigarh, for educational and research purposes. The donation was made by his sons Dr Vivekanand Jha and Apoorvanand Jha, daughter Anupama Jha, daughters-in-law Dr Sunita Mishra and Poorva Bharadwaj, along with other family members.
The PGI expressed deep gratitude to the family for their selfless and noble act. The institute lauded the gesture as an invaluable contribution to medical science and student learning.
