Members of the Bhartiya Kisan Union, led by its block president Karam Singh, and AAP workers, led by party’s Haryana secretary Yogeshwar Sharma, raised slogans against the Modi government. They burnt an effigy of the Central Government for its failure to withdraw three farm laws.

A call for the nationwide protest was given by the Samyukt Kisan Morcha for observing the day as “black day” by waiving black flags as the farmers’ protest completed six months.

Karam Singh said their protest would continue till the government revoked the three contentious farm laws.

Yogeshwar Sharma said the party would stand with the farmers and demand that the government should shun its rigidness and withdraw the three farm laws without any further delay.
