SHO Rahul confirmed the house was unoccupied at the time of the incident and fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported. Some household items were damaged in the fire. Initial investigations suggest that a short circuit may have triggered the blaze.

Commending the team’s swift response, Police Commissioner Sibash Kabiraj said, “The Panchkula police remains alert in every situation. Prompt action and coordination are essential in building public confidence. Today’s intervention not only prevented a major loss of property but also reaffirmed that the police are the first line of protection for citizens in any emergency.”

The timely response and teamwork of the Panchkula police and Fire Brigade drew praise from local residents, who gathered near the site and lauded the authorities for their professionalism. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of electrical safety checks in residential areas, particularly during the ongoing festival season.
