A fire broke out late Saturday night in the New Darshani Bagh area of Manimajra, causing panic among residents. The incident was reported around 11:40 pm, following which a firefighting team immediately arrived at the scene.

According to initial reports, a team of five firefighters, including Leading Fireman (LFM) Rohit, was dispatched from the Manimajra Fire Station with a fire tender. Upon arrival, they found several structures and materials engulfed in flames. Additional fire tenders from other fire stations were also called in or placed on standby as the situation escalated.

Visuals from the scene showed benches and sheds ablaze, with thick plumes of smoke billowing into the night sky. While the exact cause of the fire is still under investigation, no casualties had been reported at the time of filing this report.

Local police and municipal officials also reached the site to assist in relief measures and ensure public safety. The operation continued into the early hours of Sunday, with efforts still underway to douse residual flames and assess damage.
