Fireworks from moving SUV: Chandigarh Traffic Police urge citizens to report violations

A shocking video recently went viral, showing youths setting off fireworks from the roof of a moving SUV on a Chandigarh road. The footage, captured from another vehicle, sparked widespread outrage and highlighted a blatant traffic violation.

The incident was brought to the attention of the Chandigarh Traffic Police via social media, prompting a swift response. They responded, “If you witness any traffic violations, such as vehicles with temporary numbers, report them immediately to the authorities. You can call Traffic Helpline at 1073 or PCR at 112 for swift action.”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
