The National Investigation Agency today filed a chargesheet against 10 accused in a case pertaining to firing at the house of a local businessman by terrorist Goldy Brar’s accomplices.

Two of the accused, including foreign-based Brar, who has been named as the key conspirator in the case, are absconding. He has been charged with forming a gang to execute terror activities in India. His close associate, Gurpreet Singh, alias Goldy Dhillon, who is also absconding, has been charged as co-conspirator.

Brar’s accomplices opened fire at the businessman’s house in January this year. The foreign based terrorist had demanded money from the businessman.

Brar and Dhillon had recruited the arrested accused in their terror gang. The NIA investigations also found that the key conspirator was running a major terror-extortion-narco network through his India-based accomplices. They were involved in the smuggling of arms and ammunitions, sale and purchase of narcotics, distribution of proceeds of drug trade and attacks on Brar’s targets etc.
