Alchemist Hospital, Panchkula, has marked a milestone by successfully performing the first-ever robot-assisted surgeries in Panchkula. Two gall bladder removal surgeries (Cholecystectomy) were completed using the Da Vinci Xi Surgical Robot by Dr Harsh Garg, Senior Consultant, General Surgery, and Dr Rohit Bansal, Consultant, General Surgery.

The patients, from Punjab and Himachal, recovered well with minimal post-operative discomfort.
