Five Fatehgarh Sahib students make it to PSEB merit list

Five students, including three girls and two boys, from the district figured in the merit list of the Class X results declared by the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) today. Of the five students, three are from private schools and two from government Schools of Eminence.

Annanya Sharma of the Holy Heart Public School, Basi Pathana, secured 98.62 per cent to be placed ninth in Punjab and first in the district.

Sharma was followed by Lakshita Gupta of Government Senior Secondary School, Amloh, in second. She was placed 15th rank in Punjab with 97.69 per cent.

Sumit Maurya of Government Senior Secondary School Khamanon secured 18th rank in Punjab and third position in district with 97.23 per cent, while Himanshu Mittal and Shreya Gupta of Holy Heart Public School, Basi Pathana, secured 19th and 20th positions in Punjab with 97.08 and 96.92 per cent, respectively.

Deputy Commissioner Dr Sona Thind congratulated the students, their parents as well as school teachers.
