The police have arrested five members of a gang of mobile phone snatchers and recovered six phones from them. Those arrested have been identified as Badhmajra resident Amit; Gulshan Kumar and Uttam Gupta, residents of Phase 1; Harinder and Bhupinder Singh, residents of Behlolpur.

The police also recovered a two-wheeler used in the crime. The suspects used to snatch phones from people and sell these for Rs 1,000 each to Harinder and Bhupinder. The police said Amit and Bhupinder were already facing cases.
