The district on Saturday reported five more fatalities due to Covid-19, taking the total count of deaths to 499. Besides, 744 more persons tested positive for the virus and 473 got better of it till Saturday evening. Among the fresh cases, 225 came from Mohali (urban), 16 from Lalru, 17 from Kurali, 20 from Banur, 29 from Boothgarh, 43 from Gharuan, 88 from Dera Bassi, 109 from Kharar and 197 from the Dhakoli area of Zirakpur.
