Flesh trade racket busted in Lalru hotel
The police claimed to have busted an immoral trafficking racket by arresting three Kaithal residents at a hotel in Lalru on May 1. In addition, eight females were also detained in connection with the case.
The Dera Bassi police conducted a raid at Hotel Drive In 22 and arrested Naresh Kumar, resident of Friends Colony, Aman Singla, resident of Sargooda Colony, and Amit Sheetal, resident of Model Town, Jind road.
A case under Sections 3, 4 and 5 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act was registered against them at the Lalru police station.
Four more individuals, Ravi, Lovely, Prem, all residents of Zirakpur, and the owner of the hotel have been named in the case. They were at large, said Dera Bassi DSP Bikramjit Singh Brar.
