Smog: Flight operations disrupted at Chandigarh airport

All flight departures from airport were reported two to three hours behind schedule

Three flights arrivals were diverted and two delayed at Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport in Chandigarh on  Friday morning.
Poor visibility is being attributed as one of the reasons.
The early morning Pune-Chandigarh flight and Bengaluru-Chandigarh flight (7:40am) were diverted to Jaipur.
The Abu Dhabi-Chandigarh international flight (8:55am) was also diverted to Delhi.
All flight departures from the airport, including Lucknow, Hyderabad, Chennai, Patna, Bengaluru, Mumbai, were reported to be two to three hours behind the schedule.
