TAVR is a minimally-invasive surgery to replace a diseased aortic valve without an open-heart surgery. This advanced technology is used to treat patients with aortic valve stenosis.

In a press release, Dr Jaswal, said, “TAVR is the most-advanced, minimally-invasive alternative to a traditional open‐heart surgery. Due to the narrowing of the aortic valve, the patient had been experiencing chest pain, dizziness and shortness of breath. This innovative technology helps replace a patient’s narrowed aortic valve that slows down blood flow.”
