The sports kits were provided to hockey and football players of Government Model Schools of Khuda Lahora and Sector 25. In a gesture of appreciation and motivation, the foundation also gave Rs 50,000 as an encouragement grant to Riya Kaushik, a talented tennis player ranked among India’s Top-20, to support her diet and training needs.
Sarabjot interacted with the young athletes, sharing insights from his sporting journey. Vikas Sheokhand, SP, Chandigarh Police, also attended the event. He appreciated the foundation’s initiative to promote young players and empower women through sports.
“There’s no dearth in India, and such initiatives encourage kids to adopt a sport. I congratulate the foundation’s representatives, who annually encourage youngsters,” said Sarabjot.
