The UT Administrator and Governor of Punjab, VP Singh Badnore, also attended the programme and addressed the participants. While praising Competent chief Sanjay Tandon for his non-political initiative, he said his efforts would go a long way in global healing.

He emphasised Chandigarh would collectively succeed in curbing the second wave of Covid 19 and would not allow the third wave to happen at all. Emphasising the importance of the age-old practice of havan, he said the “mahamrityunjaya mantra” is very powerful and should be chanted on a daily basis.

Swami Rasikji Maharaj from Haridwar and Swami Sampurnanandji Maharaj from Panchkula participated in the programme via virtual mode.
