The police have arrested four persons — Sangrur residents Gurdeep Singh Sandhu, Daljit Singh, Rajinder Singh and Phase 10 resident Parminder Singh Mann — for cheating, forgery and criminal conspiracy over allegedly forging registration documents of properties and plots.

Their accomplice Gurjeet Singh, a Sangrur resident, is absconding.
